Hendricks, Donald Lee       "Don"

Palmyra:  Passed away at his home on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the age of 69. Don was born on January 28, 1945 in Newark, NY to Dorothy and Jacob Hendricks.  He was predeceased by his father, father-in-law Bob Clark, and brother-in-law Skip Clark.  Don is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandi; sons, Brian (Dee Dee) and Keith (Bethany) Hendricks; his mother, Dorothy Hendricks; brother, Dave (Sue) Hendricks; grandchildren, Jakob, Mitchell, Noah, Brodi and Lianna Hendricks; mother-in-law, Erma Clark; brother-in-law, Dick (Barb) Clark; sisters-in-law Linda Clark,  Sue Clark, and Lori (Jerry) Hares, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Don loved the outdoors.  He and his family have had a camp up at Eagle Bay on Fourth Lake for more than thirty years.  He enjoyed biking and kayaking.  Don also enjoyed his garden.  When the boys were younger, and living at home, it was more like a small farm.  Today, he kept a slightly smaller, more manageable garden.  He and his wife, Sandi, own Upstate Graphics in Fairport, NY. 

Friends and family are invited to gather for a time of visitation,  on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 4-7PM, at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 Route 31, Macedon, NY. Don's funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 11AM, at the Second Reformed Church of Marion, 3757 Mill St., Marion, NY 14505.  Interment will follow at the Marion Cemetery.  Memorials in memory of Don may be directed to the Friends of Bald Mountain, PO Box 914, Old Forge, NY 13420.  Online condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
