Dad always worked a couple of jobs at a time while at Kodak.A meat cutter at our corner store, fireman in the Rochester Protectives. He still found time to take us on vacations. In our latter years we didn't have a relationship. My reaching out went unanswered, for this I'll be forever saddened. The fact that I wasn't told he was sick will be with me the rest of my life.To my brothers, my children & my grandchildren,we have to greive and remember the best we can.

Grandpa, it's hard to imagine that you are gone. I feel so blessed and a bit spoiled that you had such a long life. I have so many wonderful memories of you, mostly from Winchester Street where us grandkids spent countless hours. I remember you retiring, moving out to the 'country', making it through Grandma's passing, and then finding a wonderful woman to marry. I'm glad you and Kathy had 22 years together. I wish I had been closer than 2,000 miles away these last 20 years so that I could have shared more of my adult life with you both. I recently found a card you had sent me back in 2001 or so. In the PS you wrote, "Attitude is everything." I try to live that every day. I love you and will miss you so much. Love and hugs Kathy, we will see you when we come to Rochester next week. xoxoxox, Michelle

We love you Grandpa Parr! I think back to being in the basement watching his trains running while drinking juice and making necklaces. This is a great picture. Love you!
