Macedon:  Leanne passed away on March 2, 2017 at age 73.  She was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to the late George and Mary Stephen.  Leanne is survived by her brothers, Donald (Andreé) Stephen and George Stephen; sister, Andrea Stephen; nieces and nephews, Colleen (Bob) Wersinger, Kelly (Dave) Larson, William (Julie) Stephen, Jen (Scott) Terenzi, Tracey (Mike) Povio, Jaclyn (Rick) Kartes, David Stephen and Ann-Marie (Brian) McKim; several special great nieces and nephews; many great friends in New York and Pennsylvania.

Leanne received 3 Masters of Education degrees from Elmira College.  She was a former Sister of St. Joseph Mother House.  After working 40 years as a teacher, Leanne retired from Northeast Bradford School in Rome, PA.  A member of St. Patrick’s Church in Macedon, Leanne was also a member of the liturgy committee.  She remained active in her Parkwood community by being involved in many activities.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Monday (March 6) from 4-6 PM at the funeral chapel, 1040 rte. 31, Macedon, NY.  A Funeral Mass for Leanne will be celebrated on Tuesday (March 7) at 9 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Parish in St. Patrick’s Church, 52 W.
