Lisa A. Baxter

Passed away on Friday, November 10th, 2017. She was born on August 20th, 1968 in Ogdensburg, NY. Lisa was predeceased by her parents Darrell & Anne Baxter and her sister Sharon. Lisa is survived by her siblings Jane Jones, Pat Baxter, Carol (Dick) Beaulieu, Susan (Paul) Pierce, Martha (Rocco) Porcellio, Theresa (Chris) Knopp, Karen (Tim) Sullivan, Mark (Carol) Baxter and her nieces and nephews Jason, Anne, Sara, Paul, Jonathan, Cara, Emily, Matthew, Laura, Rachel, Elizabeth, Rocco, Daniel, Aaron, Kyle, Jennifer, Kevin, Andrew and Nicholas, many great nieces and nephews and many very close friends.

Lisa was a graduate of Madrid-Waddington High School and SUNY Plattsburgh. She worked at Lifetime Health in Rochester, NY for 21 years, most recently as a Rehab Clinical Assistant.  She was last employed at Canyon Vista Medical Center in Sierra Vista, AZ where she has resided for the last two years.

Lisa was always looking for ways to do special things for others. She had an artistic side and enjoyed creating personalized gifts for people. Through the years many people have enjoyed the paintings, scrap books, drawings, tie-dyed clothing and knitted gifts that Lisa created for them.

Lisa had many other passions. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved music and was an ardent fan of many bands. She also loved to travel to visit her longtime friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 State Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502 where a service to celebrate her life will follow at 1 PM.

There will be a Mass at St. Lawrence Church, Louisville, NY, in the Spring of 2018 to celebrate the life of Lisa and she will be laid to rest with her parents in the church cemetery.
