I feel very fortunate to have a friend like Paul....we grew up together camping. hunting, fishing and playing sports.....yes softball on Hammond road was the best....and patrolling the area as kids, with our daisy red rider BB guns .....well.....that is the only reason no body ever gat attacked by a Grizzly Bear in the Hammond road area.....we stayed in touch over the years and his family became my best friend too......Marnie, Lisa, Julia and Sarah....I was blessed to have the honor to tell Paul....I loved him.... before he passed....So tell your best friend You love them.....show them.....and sleep well always.....our best friend "Paul Gardner" is on Eternal Patrol........

Being around Paul Gardner was always a happy occasion. His generous nature was all inclusive to those around him. Loved his sweet generous smile. We are so sorry for Marnie and his children. We would have attended his services, Marnie, but we have moved 2000 miles to the west. Our prayers are with you. Barton and Marilyn Dahneke.

I was so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I have many fond memories growing up of much laughter and smiles while I was the "tag-a-long" little sister! Paul was always kind and I remember many waves and hellos on his walks past our porch in Marion. I am so sorry for your loss. I trust your wonderful memories will bring you much comfort in the days ahead!

Marnie and Paul have been lifelong dear friends of our family. I have many fond memories of both of them in high school, my sister's wedding, all of us having our babies, and also their friendship and support to our family as our parents aged. Paul will definitely be missed and never forgotten. Our tears of saddness will eventually turn to tears of laughter as we remember Paul's smile and good times shared. What a wonderful family.
