I was lucky enough to have worked with Bob in the computer department at Pfaudler for many years. He was always dedicated to getting the reports upstairs for the people that needed them. More than that he was a great man to work with and was always so alive and cheerful even when things were not going our way. I remember him coming into the computer room with a smile on his face and asking if he can get a report run. Bob was always a gentleman and was well respected by all that knew him. We will all mourn the passing of Bob and remember him forever.

I worked with Bob at The Pfaudler Company for 14 years ('65 - '79). Those were the pioneer days for computer systems. Bob was very dedicated to the Company and his programming and computer work, enhancing and keeping the systems working. In those early days computer and systems had a tendency to crash at very inopportune times. I can remember several times when Bob cancelled and deferred vacation plans to stay and determine the cause and to fix cranky computer programs to save the day and to enable the monthly closing to be completed on time and financial reports could be available on time. Bob's cheerful dedication to ensure our computer systems would continue to run will never be forgotten. Bob was a great story teller and we all enjoyed his infectious laugh. We all will miss a great guy and a very good friend

My deepest sympathy to the Kirchoff family, especially to Dick, upon this great loss.
Bob left a legacy of good works to Palmyra. A special bond with you, Dick, has been broken.
My John knew Bob for years and thought so highly of you both.
Requiescat in Pacem, Bob.

The community has lost a treasure. I was given the opportunity to meet Bob and exchange conversations on many occasions. Palmyra can thank Bob for keeping Garlock in town. Bob was also a wealth of information on Sir Winston Churchill. I enjoyed listening to may stories he told about Sir Winston. I will truly miss those stories. He was also a world traveler and we would talk of the different places we both had been.
My sincere condolences to his family especially his brother Dick. Somewhere in the blessed land I can see Bob and Sir if Winston talking over our state down here. Rest in peace brother till we meet again.

Bob, where there is sadness, there is also joy in knowing you are now comfortably residing in the church eternal. God speed...

Sorry to read of Robert's passing. He and his twin brother Richard, were along with their wives, great supporters of the Western Presbyterian Church. They were always the first to serve without be prodded. Bob will surely be missed. My sincere condolences to his family.
