Macedon: Passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at her home in Macedon where she had been a resident for more than thirty five years. Sara was born on July 19, 1925 in Puerto Rico to the late Ermelindo and Paquita  "Calderon" Diaz.  She was predeceased by her husband Eugene on November 10, 2002 and her grandchildren Kristopher and Shane Braselton.  She is survived by her sons Ray (Suzanne) Braselton of Marion, NY and Gary (Pam) Braselton of Arizona; daughter, Frances (Mark Green) Chapman of Macedon, NY; grandchildren, Kurt, Karl, Kateri, Jeff, Stephanie, Randall and Lauren; great grandchildren, Taylor, Grace, Collin, Keira, Ellie, Brodie, and Miles; extended family and friends.

Sara and Eugene were married on June 18, 1948 and had came to the United States following WWII.  Sara had a passion for always looking her best.  She took pride in her personal appearance and always worked to stay fit.  In her younger years she volunteered as a fitness instructor.
