So sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was so good to my family when my mother died in 1998, working with us by phone in Texas, until we could travel back to Ontario. God bless his family at this sad time.

It has been 56 years since we (Bill and Helen Ruoff and Children) moved to East Main St. in Ontario and came to know the Murphy family; through these many years we have shared the sad and happy times with Steve. What a pleasure and blessing it has been, and my good fortune to know this gentle man and the impact he made in this greater community. I´m so sad to hear that Steve passed away. November 19th, 2015, you took me to Ft. Myers Airport, before that, Steve picked up my motorcycle at Ft. Myers Beach. I was looking forward to meet you again in Everglades City, maybe this year, and see Steve enjoying to ride the BMW he bought from me. It was a pleasure for me to know you, all my thoughts are with you now.
