“Walt”

Ontario: Walt passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at age 54.  He was born on August 14, 1962 in Rochester, NY to the late Frank and Helen Miller.  Walt was predeceased by his dear friend, Donald Larner.  Survived by his wife, Anne Miller; sons, Zachary Miller and Riley Rust; sister, Kathy (Craig) Esley; brother, Frank Miller; "favorite sister-in-law", Carrie Mincer; niece, Liliana Carra; best friends, John (Brenda) Rogers, Thomas (Kim) Kramer and Pastor Dottie (Vern) Tierson.  

Walt loved being near water, especially going to Star Lake.  He was an avid hunter, loved to sing, dance and was a ladies man.  Walt loved his whiskey and having a good time with his friends.  He enjoyed gardening and cooking with his wife Anne. Prior to the restrictor plate, Walt was a NASCAR fan for many years.  Walt was considered a very caring person, who would do anything for his family and friends.  He will be dearly missed by all, especially Jack!

Family and friends may join for a time of visitation on Monday (December 5) from 3-7 PM at Murphy Funeral Chapel, 1961 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY 14519.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday (December 6) at 11 AM at Lincoln Baptist Church, 4966 Lincoln Rd., Macedon, NY 14502.  Interment in Furnaceville Cemetery.  Contributions in Walt’s name may be directed to the church.  To leave the family an online condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
