Warren W. Gill

Palmyra:  Warren passed into Christ’s Kingdom on January 11, 2018, after a brief illness.  He was a friend of Bill W. for 30 years. A Vietnam era Army veteran, Korea 1965-1966.  After retiring from Mobil Chemical in 1988, he enjoyed camping and traveling with his friends in his RV.  

Warren leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Valerie; his daughters, Dianna Gill of Tampa, Florida and Heather Gill of Union City, Pennsylvania; sister, Janice; brothers, Roger (Debbie) and Dennis; many cousins, nieces and nephews; his adopted families, the Countryman’s and Halsey’s, who made his life worth living, especially, Jenn, Terri, Taylor and Bailey; his cats, Mr. Bing and Miss Helen.

A special thank you to Dr. Mary Coan, Dr. Lisa Slimmer and Dr. Laura Pierce and the staff at Clifton Springs Hospital, who with his caregivers made his last years enjoyable.  Please the courtesy of no flowers.  In Warren’s memory, please wear something baby blue.  

Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 3-5 PM on Wednesday (January 17) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502, where his funeral service will be held at 5 PM.  Interment in Webster Rural Cemetery.  Please consider donations to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 or to South Perinton United Methodist Church, 291 Wilkinson Rd., Fairport, NY 14450 or to a charity of choice.  To leave the family an online condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
