All burial vaults offered by Murphy Funeral Services, are supplied by the Wilbert Burial Vault Company. Vaults will vary in cost depending upon the type of lining and reinforcement. These prices are effective as of August 1, 2006 and are subject to change without notice.

A burial vault is a protective outer container for the casket. It provides the casket with superior, long-lasting protection against subsoil elements and the weight of heavy cemetery maintenance equipment. *Note: There is no New York State Law that requires the use of a burial vault or outer interment receptacle. Most local cemeteries however, require the usage of a vault or grave liner as a condition for earth burial.
