Canandaigua: After a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Arlene passed away on September 23, 2019 at age 75 surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her son, Kenny; father, Lewis H. Martz; brother, Lewis J. Martz; brother-in-law, Gerald Popen; sister-in-law, Christina Reynolds. Arlene is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Les Fleenor; daughter, Karen (Marcus) Carey; grandchildren, Matthew and Melissa Carey; mother, Phyllis Martz; sister, Alice Popen; sisters-in-law, Lorreen “Sandy” Coyle and Janet Martz; several nieces, nephews and cousins and her beloved cats.

A memorial service for Arlene will be held on Saturday (October 5), 11 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 153 Church Ave., Farmington, NY 14425. Contributions in Arlene’s memory may be directed to the church. To leave the family an online condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
