With sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of Bobbie (Barbara) Hollis.  She passed away respectfully and peacefully with her children by her side at Bay Front Hospital in St. Petersburgh, FL at age 60.  She is survived by her children, Tammy Hollis, Danny Hollis and Tony Hollis; her siblings, Thelma Person, Josepha Jones, Naomi Gallivan, John (Boot) Pitts, Dora Pope, Donita Hollis, Larry Hollis, Nathaniel (Nate) Hollis, Robert (Babbit) Hollis, Neil Hollis and Rick (Ricky) Hollis; grandchildren, Keyshira Hollis, Jaguanda Hollis, Shane Moore, Martavius Moore, Brandon Moore, T’oni Holiis, Imani Hollis, Jon’niyah Hollis, Danny Hollis, Jr., and Devin Hollis; great grandchildren, Zion Wilson, Landon Newton and Mac Francois; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Bobbie was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Robert Hollis; her brother, Robert Hollis, Jr.

Bobbie was born on June 11, 1958 in Sodus, NY to Mary and Robert Hollis.  She graduated from Wayne Central High School and received a Nurses Aid certification from BOCES Technical School.  She moved to Florida to start a new chapter in her life.  While in Florida, she made many friends, who got to experience her joy and love for life.

She enjoyed music and laughter.  Bobbie also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and helping them learn.  She will be forever remembered for her sense of humor and making her children laugh with a twinkle of her eye. 

Friends and family are invited to gather, on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 10-noon at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519 where a prayer service will follow.  Interment at Furnaceville Cemetery.
