Donald was an outstanding three sport athlete in high school, winning state titles in both baseball and soccer and was the ultimate team player. He always emphasized to his kids not to draw attention to themselves, but to always work to support your team. He married the love of his life, his high school sweetheart, Betty Jean and served with honor in the US Navy for four years. Soon after his discharge from the Navy, he began his plumbing career at the local Macedon Hardware store and later worked at GM – Rochester Products as a pipefitter until retirement. He loved his wife, kids, grandkids, and great grandkids with all his heart. He passed on those caring values of how to love one another, while also being fair but firm. He was a great man who through words and deeds, created a positive example for those of us who followed. We love you Dad, you will always be in our memories and will be sorely missed!
