Eugene Robert Brown    "Gene"

Macedon:  Passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the age of 90.  Gene was born on February 9, 1928 to the late Robert J. and Grace "Brasser" Brown.  He was predeceased by his wife Virginia "Ginny' Brown; son-in-law Lawrence "Larry" Packard; sister Carolyn "Sis" McPhee and brother William "Bruce" Brown.  Gene is survived by his daughter Donna Packard; grandson, Tom Packard; granddaughter Sarah (JR) Flight; great-grandson Dylan Flight; brother, Howard (Anita) Brown; sister-in-law Eleanor "Ellie" Martz and brother-in-law Norman Hoyt; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Gene was a graduate of East Rochester High School.  He served his country through the United States Army from 1951-1953 and then as a reservist until 1956.  Gene was retired from the Eastman Kodak Company.  He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Macedon Center Fire Department.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 5-8PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 State Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502.  A celebration of Gene's life will be offered on Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10AM at St. John Lutheran Church, 153 Church Ave., Farmington (Pumpkin Hook), NY 14425.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Gene may be made in the form of a donation to the church, or to the Macedon Center Fire Department.  Please visit the tribute wall at www.murphyfuneralservices.com to leave a condolence, light a candle, or upload a photo.
