I am so sorry to see this so late

I didn’t join social media till just a couple years ago and only recently connected with Matt

I was Matt’s companion on a mission in Albany, Georgia. At the time, Heidi and “Sister Walch” were in our district and also missionaries

I remember a few years after returning and Matt and Heidi getting married being asked by another former missionary from Georgia “hey did Matt and Heidi have eyes for each other in the mission field”?

I would laugh. They were both as straight of arrows as you get and wonderful dedicated missionaries who were such good examples to me. Heidi probably would chuckle knowing some of the responsibilities that “Elder Brown” ended up with later in life

So sorry about your loss Matt, but as you know, it is just but just a short temporary separation in the grand plan

Please let me know if you roll back through Mesa to see family. I am in Queen Creek. Shoot me a text sometime. 480-204-8377

Love you both

Lanny B

Just saw the news about Heidi passing away. We are so very sorry and want you to know our prayers and thoughts are with all of you at this time. Heidi has struggled for a long time with health issues. How hard that has been for her and her family. What a special lady she was. We love the Hippen family!

I grew up with Heidi in Salt Lake City, Utah and have many fond memories! The Hippen family will forever be in my childhood memories of a wonderful family and great friends. May peace be with you through this time.

Our family lived in a choice neighborhood surrounded by wonderful neighbors, including the Hippen family. It was a delight to watch these eight wonderful children grow up and to associate with them and their amazing parents. I can only imagine what a christlike, talented woman, wife, and mother she became. Please accept my thoughts of love and sympathy at this time. Kendra Divine

So sorry for your loss. One of my favorite scriptures at times like this comes from Isaiah 25:8...
"He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces..." I know the Savior has and will continue to do that for you and your family.

We moved to Palmyra shortly after Matt and Heidi moved here. Living a few houses down, we became good friends. We will forever think of Heidi when we see a plastic lawn flamingo or a roll of decorative duct tape.

Heidi was an example of how to endure hardships gracefully and graciously. We will miss her.

Our love and sympathy go out to you at this time. May God bless your lovely family. The light and joy that Heidi obviously had for life will be a blessed remembrance for all. The dignity and grace that the Baker's have shown in their lives and trials are a great inspiration to all around them. May you find comfort in God and His eternal promises. Heidi is an amazing individual. Full of faith, courage, and a willingness to submit to her Father's will as she endured life's challenges with incredible grace. She is the gold standard when I think of "enduring well." We will love you and your family forever Heidi! We promise to help look after Matt and Sarah. May the Lord bless and comfort your precious Matt, Sarah, Scott & his beautiful family. Thank you for being such a light to so many!
