Margaret R. Maguire

Ontario: Passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 with her family by her side one day shy of her 86th birthday.  She was born on Monday, May 2, 1932 to the late Arthur John E. and Anne Dorothy "Harris" Parsons in Bristol, England.   She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Dennis Maguire; children, Larry (Sandra) Maguire, Denise (Gregor) Borthwick and Nick (Fran) Maguire; seven grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Margaret spent her earlier years in her native home of England and came to the United States on October 22, 1972.  She moved to a home in Ontario that she had seen, and liked, while previously visiting family here.  Margaret enjoyed flowers and spent a good deal of her time gardening.  She was an animal lover.  She enjoyed feeding the birds and would welcome in stray cats, and dogs.  Margaret will be missed by her family but she has left a legacy behind that will be shared with future generations; especially her relationship with Dennis.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 2-5 PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519.
