Baldauf, Patricia Via (age 77)

Palmyra: Passed away peacefully on November 1, 2017 after years of declining health.  

Pat was born, June 6, 1940, in Utah where she lived until she met her sweetheart and moved to Palmyra, NY. She and Paul Baldauf were happily married for 26 years until his death, December 26, 1996.

Pat is survived by children, Paulette (Tom) Kealy of Pittsford NY, Peggy (John) Carr of Fairport NY , Phillip (Lori) Baldauf  of Cincinnati, OH and grandchildren; Paul, Emma, Megan and Anne Kealy; Spencer and Andrew Carr; Max, Celeste, Gehrig, Tessa and Everett Baldauf. 

She was a devoted mother and homemaker, but was happiest as a grandmother. She volunteered at her church, and in the community, as often as possible. Even through her numerous health struggles, Pat remained optimistic and seldom complained. She was known for saying, “Some people get a Cadillac body…I got a jalopy.” Her positive attitude even followed her to the Fairport Baptist Nursing home, when she became a resident one year ago.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 5pm-8pm at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 123 East Jackson Street, Palmyra, NY 14522.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 10am at the LDS chapel, 2720 Temple Rd, Palmyra NY 14522.  Interment will follow at Palmyra Village Cemetery, 272 Vienna St. Palmyra, NY 14522.
