Please make checks payable to WWIAF. Reference the individual, the donation is in memory of, in the memo section of your check. This organization has local ties to the Reisdorf family of Macedon, NY who hold a retreat for 4 purple heart recipients and a guest (spouse, friend, significant other, etc.) each fall at their farm/camp on Johnson Road, on the southern end of Palmyra. Wounded Warrior in Action NY Upland Bird Hunt and Couples Retreat is the official name of the event. Activities include a bird hunt, or spa treatment, winery tours, as example for those who do not wish to participate in the hunt. Lifelong relationships seem to be established between the Reisdorf family, local sponsors, and those who participate as guests. Thank you to our veterans.
