Sharon W. Willatt
Victor/Geneva/Palmyra: Passed away on December 29, 2018 at the age of 80 after a three year battle with lung cancer. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald E. Schinsing; her parents William and Geraldine Willatt of St. Petersburg, FL and her brother, William Willatt of Venice, FL. She is survived by her children, Donald Jr. "Skip" (Suzanne), David (Rachel Monfredo), Craig (Terri) and Eric (Lori); Grandchildren Kyle Simmons, Morgan, Ryan, Grace, Leah, Cedella, Anna Mae, Matthew, Marlee and Libby Schinsing and Kara (Mark) Golden; Great grandchildren, Adriana and Ryan Golden; brother Neil (Teresa) Willatt of Largo, FL; her good friend James Shuler of Victor, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews. Sharon loved all things Syracuse Orange, enjoyed needlepoint (making her entire family Christmas stockings), baking cookies with her grandchildren, knitting, winning at BINGO and having fun whatever she was doing!
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
Calling hours will be held Friday, January 4th, from 5 – 7pm at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 123 East Jackson Street, Palmyra, NY 14522. A celebration of life memorial will be held Saturday, January 5th, at 11am, at the Legacy at the Fairways Media Room, 681 High Street in Victor, NY.
