Message from David Silberman, Acting President Jewish Survivors of Latvia

As the Acting President of Jewish Survivors of Latvia, I wish to thank Mr. Tom Pridell for his service to this country, for defending our freedoms, for fighting against senseless hatred everywhere. America has lost a great hero and true patriot who understood the mission of the United States and continued to fight for its freedom and honor long after his official service ended. May you rest in peace, and your soul be a blessing among the mourners of Israel.

Tom was a great friend, no not a friend but a brother! He is greatly missed and I promise to keep the fight going in his memory, but I'm sure going to miss him telling me to go back to my knitting. I love you brother and God willing we will see each other again. God Bless.

There is a purpose for everyone and everything that happens. Tom is no longer in pain, and that's a blessing. The grief that many feel by his leaving Will be with them for a long time. The officers and members of the DAV 120 send Debbie and her family sympathies, and our support in the following times. Tom, rest. We will continue doing good things and know you will be watching.

Tom was an important part of my life, he helped me move into several apartments and also when I moved back home to Croghan, NY. He built me a kitchen table with folding legs when I had none and I still have the table. He co-signed a loan so I could get another car and even worked on the car when it needed fixing. He boosted my spirits with numerous calls to see how I was doing. I will miss his inspiring calls very much. RIP dear soul.
