"Al"

Macedon: Passed away on October 5, 2014 at age 81.  Al was predeceased by his  parents Frank & Cora Ford; sisters, Eva DeBoerdere, Shirley DeBoerdere, Dorothy Palmer, Carol Green, brother, Richard Ford.  He is survived by his wife of 59 years Ruth M. Ford of Macedon; daughters Karen L. (Don) Fisher of Canandaigua, Valerie A. (Scott) Velepec of Fairport, Sharon M. (Tommy) Mullins of Michigan; grandchildren Heather M. (Darrin) Frances, Brianna Velepec and Alexander Velepec;  brother Frank Ford, Jr.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Al was employed by the American National Can for 44 years. He was a proud veteran and served in the US Army during the Korean War.

Friends may join the family on Wednesday (October 8) from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502, where his funeral service will be held on Thursday (October 9) at 11 AM.  Interment in Macedon Village Cemetery.  Contributions may be directed to the American Lung Association or to a charity of choice, in Al's memory.  To leave the family a condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
