Curran, Alice Margaret

Palmyra:  Passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016 at the age of 95.  Alice was born on October 18, 1920 in Clifton Springs, NY to the late Constant and Stephanie Antheunis.  In addition to her parents, Alice was predeceased by her husband Donald L. Curran; siblings, August, Sylvia, Clara and Ester.  She is survived by her sons Steve (Linda Ouimet) Curran and Thomas (Susan) Curran; Grandchildren, Thomas (Tracey) Curran, Jr., Stacey (Paul) Pumputis, Jason Curran and Christopher Curran; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Heffron; brother, Cyril (Geraldine) Antheunis; extended family and friends.

Alice was retired from the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District where she had worked in the offices as a payroll clerk.  She was a member of St. Anne's Parrish; had volunteered with Palmyra Ambulance and the Happy Hookers Crochet group.  She had recently resided at Crest Manor in Perinton.

There will be no prior visitation.  Friends and family may gather for her Funeral Mass, on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 9AM at the St. Katharine Drexel Parrish at St. Anne's Church, 136 Church Street, Palmyra, NY 14522.  Interment will follow in St. Anne's Cemetery.  Memorials may be made in Alice's name to the church.  Online condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com
