IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alice P.
(Hauf) Moskal
July 6, 1941 – February 2, 2026
Alice P. Moskal
Palmyra
With broken hearts we share that Alice Pauline Moskal passed away on February 2, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love. Alice met the love of her life, Ed, at a college dance. From their very first dance, they knew they were meant to be together forever. She was a devoted homemaker who focused her life on nurturing her family by creating a warm home environment. Alice loved reading, cross stitching, and solving jigsaw and word puzzles. Alice enjoyed chatting with her sister, Barb Caci, and best friend, Carole Bradstreet. She liked to cheer for her Buffalo Bills and NY Yankees. Alice would play cards with everyone, whether it was high stakes poker in her hometown of Waterloo, teaching grandkids Euchre or avoiding losing her quarters in Scat. After trouncing the grandchildren in Monopoly, Alice felt bad, but in her excitement, accidentally blurted out, "Winning is all that matters!". They never let her live that down! Sunday afternoons, and holidays, were special times filled with laughter, family fun, her delicious cooking and the best grandma cookies!
Alice is predeceased by her husband of 58 years Edward John Moskal, Jr.; her parents, Walter and Mary Hauf; sister, Barbara (Joseph) Caci and brother James Hauf. Alice is survived by her brother Walter (Margie) Hauf; sister-in-law Ginger Hauf; three children, Karleen (Robert) Cirulli, Paula (Michael) Strauss, and Edward (Cyndi) Moskal III; eight grandchildren, Christopher (Melissa), Jason (Lauren), Eric, Isabelle (Roberto), Daniel, Dylon, Justen (Leia) and Olivia; five great grandchildren, Cole, Delilah, Josephine, Georgia and a precious baby girl due later in February 2026. Alice was also blessed with many nieces and nephews whom she enjoyed watching grow throughout the years. She also considered herself so fortunate to have lived in her home for 55 years, surrounded by the best neighbors on Gates Street!
