Mauser, Alois A.    "Al"

Macedon:  Died on February 8, 2014 at the age of 92.

Al was predeceased by his first wife, of twenty seven years, Evelyn Bowen Mauser; his sister Helen Hernigle and stepson Daniel Lentz.  Al is survived by his wife of thirty nine years, Dorothy Purdy Mauser; daughter Donna (Douglas) Ross; son, Richard Mauser and stepson David Lentz; granddaughters, Michelle (Ian) Cannan and Alaina (David) Anderson; great-grandson Ross Cannan; and two nieces.

Al was the Chief Engineer for the Morgan Machine Company of Rochester, NY.  Morgan Machine Company specialized in box making machinery. Outside of work, Al was an avid boater and landscape painter.

There will be no public visitation.  Al's services and interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Al may be directed to the Wayne County Council for the Arts, 108 West Miller Street, Newark, NY 14513.  Condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
