Alyssa was born in Rochester, NY on February 4, 1995, and passed away in Macedon, NY on August 27, 2023. Alyssa is survived by her birth parents, Gregory Straight and Jennifer Snyder; her stepmother Brandie Straight; her siblings Sadie and Gregory; her half siblings Samuel, Jake, Clara, Neveah, Travis and CJ; and her g randparents, Steve and Sharon Clovis, and Judy Straight.

Alyssa could be as sweet as honey, or as protective as a little pitbull and she loved her family just as fiercely. Alyssa loved life but, like all of us, found it heavy at times. During those times she would much rather help others with their struggles than her own. She would give even when she had very little to herself. Alyssa's laugh was contagious, and she liked nothing more than to smile and see other people be happy. Her level of goofiness knew no bounds in her attempts to get friends and family to lose it. I think that will be what is missed most by the people who truly knew her; her humor. It goes without saying that she was a very beautiful girl even before her 2hr makeup and hair sessions. Hers was a natural beauty that blended with nature, soft and flowing, bright and glowing, she will make an amazing angel in her favorite hoodie, black stretchy pants, uggs, and huge purse. Rest now little grasshopper, your finally experiencing the peace and love we talked so often about but felt so far out of reach for you. Thank you for an amazing 28 years of unrelenting love and enduring commitment to family and friends. Your faith has given you a place at Gods table where you're probably making your past relatives laugh 'till they cry and someday for those of us that share that same faith, we will be blessed to be in your presence once again.
