Macedon – Andrew passed away suddenly on September 17, 2025 at age 64. He was predeceased by his father, Andrew Farmer; father-in-law, Richard Inguaggiato.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Annette Farmer; children, Collin (Kasandra), Evan, and Olivia Farmer; grandson, Samuel; mother, Colleen Farmer; siblings, Stephen Farmer and Tracey (Peter) Easterly; nephews, Callum Farmer; mother-in-law, Nancy Inguaggiato; brother-in-law, Donald (Patricia) Inguaggiato.
Andy was born in Paisley Scotland and immigrated to the United States at the age of seven. After immigrating he settled within Rochester, NY. He went to Aquinas Institute of Rochester. After graduating he attended Rochester Tool and Die Precision Machining Association.
Andy worked at Parlec for 39 years, with his final position being Team Leader of Manufacturing. He loved following sports as he was a huge fan of the Boston Bruins, Minnesota Vikings, Boston Celtics, Baltimore Orioles, and the Scottish Celtic Football Club. He loved collecting comics, watching movies, he was an avid reader, and loved skeet shooting.
Andy was also a family man. He loved camping with his family, traveling, and getting together for picnics and playing cornhole. Andy loved going for walks with his wife, Annette of 31 years. He loved his belated dog Murray of 11 years. He was very proud and loved all three of his children, Collin, Evan, and Olivia. He was also very proud to have recently become a grandfather for the first time on August 12th 2025 to grandson, Samuel Andrew Farmer.
Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 4:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday September 24th at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 123 E. Jackson St., Palmyra, NY 14522, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday September 25th at 10 AM. Andrew will be laid to rest in Palmyra Village Cemetery.
