IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Andrew J.
Mol
May 20, 1994 – November 8, 2025
Andrew J. Mol
Macedon, NY: Passed away after a long and courageous battle with juvenile diabetes and kidney failure. Born in Macedon, Andrew graduated from Palmyra-Macedon High School in 2013 and then worked at BOCES Fairport School. Andrew was known for his creativity, humor, and love of life. He loved skateboarding, hunting, fishing, and woodburning. He was a huge fan of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and Marvel movies. A collector of many things, he also had a deep appreciation for music, and a wonderfully morbid sense of humor that kept those around him laughing, even during hard times. Diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at the age of seven, Andrew made the best of all his ailments. He faced countless hospital stays over the past three years but fought every step of the way—with grit, humor, and hope.
Andrew is survived by his loving mother, Ann Dambra (Rauber); his father, David Mol and stepmother Shelly Mol; his sisters, Ashley Todd, Chelsea Werzinger, Taylor Dezio, Brooke LaForty, and Hallie Strauf; nephews Alex and Hudson; grandmothers Martha McGlory and Patricia Mol; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless dear friends.
Andrew's world revolved around good food and good company. Whether it was Arby's roast beef sandwiches, or stuffed shells, tacos, snickerdoodles, or ramen, he found joy in every bite and every shared meal. One of his favorite get-togethers was the annual Christmas cookie decorating party. He loved his loyal dog, Sandor, and cherished the memories captured in photos and video with family and friends. Though his time here was far too short, Andrew's spirit—his humor, resilience, and love—will continue to inspire those who knew him best.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation, Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 4-7PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 State Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Andrew will be offered at the Cross Creek Church, 3700 NY State Route 31, Palmyra, NY 14522 on Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10AM. Interment will follow at the Macedon Village Cemetery. Please visit the tribute wall for Andrew's obituary at www.murphyfuneralservices.com to leave a condolence.
