Andrew "Andy" was born on May 27, 1992. He grew up in Palmyra, NY where he cultivated an everlasting love for the outdoors. He played football and baseball from grade school up to his graduation from Palmyra-Macedon High School in 2010. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in environmental science from SUNY Brockport in 2014.

Andy enjoyed time with family, friends, and black Labrador Henry. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, woodworking, and playing guitar. Andy had such a loving heart. He was always so kind. His strong faith and desire to help others will leave a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Andy was predeceased by his grandfather, William Standinger, Jr.

He is survived by his father, David (Nancy) Standinger; mother, Margaret (Ron) Fogarty; sister, Christina (Joshua) Standinger; grandparents, Florence "Sawyer" Standinger, Max "Opa" and Connie "Oma" Hogenes; stepsisters, Ashley Leger, Shelby (Jim) Gross, Kimberly (Bryant Myers) Stephens; stepbrothers, Adam (Meghan) Stephens, and Matthew (Kristen Hampu) Fogarty; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many cousins.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 4-7PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 State Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered to celebrate the life of Andrew, at Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Highway South, Rochester, NY 14617 on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 10 AM. Interment will follow at White Haven Memorial Park.
