Martin, Angela Dawn   "Angie"

Ontario:  Passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019 at her home in Ontario.  Angie was born on May 11, 1976 to Jack and Linda "Largent" Whitacre in Winchester, Virginia.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Leeland "Lee" Martin;  sister, Sandra (Robert) Kaminski; brothers, Jack (Barbara) Whitacre, Delbert (Deanna) Whitacre and Michael Whitacre; nieces and nephews, Lindsey (Robert) Davis, Robert Kaminski, Adrianna Whitacre, Savannah Whitacre and Ashby Whitacre, Timothy Whitacre, Brittany (Chris) DeHaven, Bryan Whitacre; great nieces and nephews Marleigh DeHaven and Wyatt DeHaven, extended family and friends.

Angie was a business development manager with AutoZone where she had worked for the past 13 years.  She and Lee met in Baltimore, Maryland while working with Advance  Auto Parts.  She moved to the area in 2004 and had been living in Ontario, NY since 2010.  Angie and Lee were married for ten years and enjoyed spending time together including snowmobiling and spoiling their two dogs.  Angie was supportive of the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester.  She was a mentor to many of the younger women diagnosed with breast cancer.  She always maintained a great disposition and tried to put a positive spin on any situation.

Angie was loved by her family and friends and her legacy will live on through them.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 2- 6 PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1961 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519 where a service of remembrance will immediately follow at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be private at the Furnaceville Cemetery.  A time of visitation with a service to follow, will also be held at the Giffin Funeral Home, Inc., 2807 Northwestern Pike, Capon Bridge, West Virginia 26711,  on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 1:30 to 3PM with a service to commence at 3PM.  (www.giffinfuneralhome.com).  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Angie may be made in the form of a donation to the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, 1048 University Ave., Rochester, NY 14607 www.bccr.org, 585-473-8177.
