Ann G. Scott

Fairport: Ann passed away peacefully at age 90 surrounded by her loving family on December 19, 2018.   Born in Syracuse NY, she was the daughter of Carolyn Fowler Reid and Leo Reid. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.   She was a long time member of the Geneva Women's Club.  She was a gentle soul who loved animals, music, gardening, a good joke, going to the lake and spending time with her large family. Ann was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas Guinan, who passed away in 1948 and her second husband of 54 years, Thomas Scott who passed away in 2005.  She was also predeceased by her brother James, her infant daughter Ann, her son James, an army medic killed in Vietnam in 1968, her grandson Sean, her great grandson Tripp and her daughter-in-law Susan. She is survived by her daughters:  Patricia (Mark) Ginther, Mary, Eileen (Jeff) Cormier, sons:  Thomas (Julie), Michael (Nancy), Paul (Susan predeceased), Lawrence (Ken), John (Mariea), Brian (Mary), twenty one grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren,  one great-great granddaughter, nieces, nephews and of course Jackson(s). Special thanks from the family to the wonderful "goofballs" at Memory Care Residence at Creekstone (Leo's house) who were incredible in helping us care for Mom in her final years.
