Anne E. Batterby

Palmyra: Anne passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at age 69.  She was born on February 1, 1947 in Clifton Springs, NY to the late Albert and Gladys Batterby.  Anne was also predeceased by her brother, Karl Batterby.  She is survived by her sister Elaine Batterby; brother, James Batterby; sister-in-law, Lien Batterby; and many cousins.

Anne retired after 40 years from Exxon Mobil Chemical.  She was the 1999 Vita Award recipient from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester.  Anne was an amateur artist, poet and co-editor of multi-issue amateur publications.

Friends may join the family for Anne's visitation on Friday (April 15) from 4-7 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 123 East Jackson St., Palmyra, NY 14522.  Anne's Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday (April 16) at 10 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Parish at St. Anne's Church, 136 Church St., Palmyra, NY.
