IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anthony Joseph
Rampulla
November 11, 1966 – February 28, 2026
Anthony "Tony" Joseph Rampulla
Farmington: Left this earth, far too soon, on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at the age of 59. Tony had been a patient at the Wilmot Cancer Center, at Strong Memorial Hospital. He had received a cancer diagnosis in early February and was admitted to the hospital less than a week prior to his death. Although he was brave, and determined to do battle, that was not to be. Tony was surrounded by family and friends during his brief hospitalization and he passed peacefully, knowing how much he was loved.
Tony was predeceased by his wife, the love of his life, Danielle Rampulla, and his mother, Kathryn Cobbett, and her husband, Robert Cobbett. We can only imagine the joyous reunion! Tony leaves behind his sons, Jade Rampulla, Anthony Rampulla and Aiden Rampulla as well as his other children, Cody (Elizabeth) Freeman, and Breanna Freeman; 3 grandchildren; big brother David (Angi) Rampulla; sister, Maria Elston (Christopher Roberti); nephews Josh Rampulla, Matthew Rampulla, and Zane Rampulla; and his niece Jayme Elston.
Aside from his family, Tony's greatest love, and his life's work, was his music. He was an exceptional singer and songwriter; a true artist. He was never happier than when he was playing his guitar and creating music. He also enjoyed the outdoors and had many great memories of growing up in Horseheads, NY which would include fishing on the pond in the summer and skating on it in the winter. Tony loved a good bonfire and he could always build them well! He also had a sweet tooth and took great pleasure in eating the banana bread, rice pudding, pineapple upside down cake and cheesecake that his mom, wife and sister would make for him.
There are no words to describe how Tony will be missed by his family, his friends and anyone whose life he touched in some way. A celebration of life will be Friday, June 5, 2026, 3 to 9pm at the Rotary Lodge in Greece Canal Park Rochester, NY 14626 (585-753-7275). Please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com to sign Tony's online register book. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wilmot Cancer Center, at Strong Memorial Hospital.
