Hallings, Barbara M.

Farmington:  Passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015, at the age of 76.  Barbara was born on June 12, 1939 to the late Madeline "Bills" and Irving H. Hallings, Sr. in Rochester, NY.  She was predeceased by her brother Leonard.  Survivors include her siblings; Irving (Susan) Hallings, Jr., Alice (Bruce) Norton, Rose Hallings and Frank (Kerry) Hallings; sister-in-law Kathleen Hallings; son, Ed (Darleen) Falkner; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Barbara enjoyed her family very much.  She found pleasure in feeding her nieces and nephews and especially enjoyed making a fruit salad.  Crochet and knitting were also a hobby and you could find her going out to retrieve the morning paper each day.  Her favorite color was yellow and she loved yellow roses.  Her brothers and sisters say that she was her mother's shadow.  Barbara will be missed by her family and friends.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a time of visitation on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 5-8PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1040 State Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502 where a service will be offered on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 10AM.  Interment White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY.  Memorials in memory of Barbara may be made to a charity of your choice.  Online condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
