Palmyra:  Passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014.  Barbara is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harold; son, Gary (Pamela) Hughes; daughter, LeeAnn (Bill) Hughes-Martin; sisters Gail and Sharon; brother, John; granddaughter Cassie Hughes, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Barbara and Harold worked and raised their family in Palmyra.  Barbara devoted herself to the raising of their two children.  Over the years, when time allowed, Barbara enjoyed reading.

At Barbara's request, services will be private.  Memorials in her memory may be directed to the First United Methodist Church of Palmyra, 109 Church Street, Palmyra, NY 14522.
