VerSluis, Bernice D.

Venice, Florida/Palmyra:  Bernice passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 at the Gardens of Venice Assisted Living Facility in Venice, Florida. Bernice was predeceased by her first husband Raymond J. DeVolder in 1978 and her second husband,  Harold VerSluis in 1992.  Survivors include her children, who so loved her and will miss her, Kathleen A. (James) Hollingsworth,  David R. (Mary) DeVolder and Mary (Frank) DeFoe; grandchildren, Debra L. (James) Agostinelli, Lori A. (Doug) Cleveland, Terri (Bob) Havrilla, Matthew DeVolder and Rachel Potkovic; great grandchildren, Katlynn Cleveland, Zoe and Mia Agostinelli, Brittany (Max) Dingman, Jace Havrilla, Annika Potkovic and Jack Ferrill.  The family extends a special thank you to Jackie, Connie and the staff at the Gardens of Venice for their friendship and kindness extended to their mother. Their will be no public visitation. Services and interment will be held privately in Marion, NY.  Memorials in memory of Bernice may be made to your local hospice, the American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.  Online condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
