Bessie Ann Lousley

Macedon: Bessie was born on July 13, 1933 to the late Richard and Ida Louise Gates.  She passed away on October 13, 2015 at age 82.  Bessie was predeceased by her siblings, Beverly and Richard.  She was a loving wife to Alfred Lousley for 62 1/2 years.  Bessie is also survived by her children, Faith (John) Stoehr, Jonathan (Norrie) Lousley, David (Eileen) Lousley, Mary Black Eagle, Joy (Abel) Tanalega, Dorthea "Dodi" (Leonard) Lewis and Isa (Henry) Davis; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; siblings, Rita Hersey and George Gates; several nieces and nephews.

Bessie loved to bake, sow, play bingo and enjoyed anything to do with crafts.  She loved her children and grandchildren.  Bessie will be missed.

Friends may join the family for Bessie's visitation on Thursday (October 15) from 10 AM - 12 PM at Light House Baptist Church, 1000 South Main St., Newark, NY 14513, where her funeral service will be held at 12 PM.  Interment in White Haven Memorial Park.  Contributions in Bessie's name may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association of Rochester, 435 East Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.  To leave the family an online condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com .
