Bradley G. Griffith

Palmyra:  Passed away on April 21, 2019. Bradley was born January 20, 1928 in Wilkinsburg Pa. to Frederick A. Griffith of Palmyra and his wife Harriet Hull Gould of Rochester.

He graduated from Honey Eye Falls class of 1947 and enlisted into the Army in 1949 through 1952.  Bradley was stationed in Germany with the 7th army 18th Combat Engineers obtaining the rank of Sargent first class.

Bradley was married in Highland Park California to the late Maude Ann Thorson from 1956 to 1993 at which time she passed away. He married secondly in Palmyra to the late Mary Long Murray in 1996 - 2019.

He had a wide range of employment over his life time, from the Rail Road, Water and Power company of Los Angles, Post Office, Fuller Brush, Teaching School in rural Maine and operating room staff. His one great love was politics having served as a town selectman for 12 years in Buckfield, Maine and as a state tax assessor.

Bradley is survived by his son Henry of Keene NH, his daughter Joan of Barstadt Germany and one granddaughter Meghan Ferrari of Asheville N.C.

Bradley was laid to rest at the Palmyra Cemetery in a private ceremony with military honors.  Online condolences may be left at www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
