Carl J. Harris

Victor/ Manchester:  Carl passed away on May 29th, 2020 at age 85 surrounded by his loving daughters.  He was born in Penn Yan, N.Y. on October 8th 1934. Carl was predeceased by his devoted wife of 63 years, June M. (Posman) Harris.

Carl is survived by his 3 daughters, Carol Harris, Susan (Gary) Bogner and Deborah (Fred) Ireland; grandchildren, Jacob (Olana) Solt, Katie Greenfield, Garrett Barber, Joshua Bogner, Amanda Bogner, Samantha Vanderwall and Travis Vanderwall, 11 great grandchildren, and a special friend, niece and genealogy partner Diane Robinson.

Carl was a very clever, witty and kind hearted man. He was always fixing and inventing things to make life easier for himself and others. He loved to research the genealogy of his ancestors and record it for future generations. Carl also belonged to the Sky Rovers Flying Club and enjoyed his RC airplanes and helicopters. He loved to socialize and was always ready with a joke or a bit of trivia.

He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A private family celebration of life will be scheduled in the near future.
