Obituary

On January 21st, 2025, Carol Ann Malcolm was called home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Predeceased by her parents Charles and Katherine Coomber; brothers Jerry, Gene, and Lynn Coomber.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Thomas Briggs; sons, Eli Malcolm, Seth (Elizabeth) Malcolm, and Zeb (Laura) Malcolm; grandchildren, Gage and Ella Malcolm and Lilliana and Westin Malcolm; and countless friends and family.

Carol Ann was born on the 5th of September 1950.  She grew up in Walworth, NY and raised her family in Ontario, NY.  She touched many lives throughout her years and will be remembered for her charismatic zest for life and smile that lit up a room.

Family and friends may attend her calling hours on January 31st from 4-7pm at Murphy Funeral and Cremation Chapels, 1961 Ridge Rd, Ontario, NY 14519.  The following day, Saturday, February 1st a Memorial Service will be held at 11am at First United Methodist Church of Newark, 301 S. Main Street, Newark NY 14513.
