Caryl Lane (Mero) (1950-2025) Caryl Lane (Mero), 75, of Canandaigua, NY passed away peacefully on November 2nd, 2025, surrounded by her family at The Homestead in Penn Yan, NY.

She was born in Canastota, NY and enlisted in The United States Air Force as a recruiter after graduating High School. She later retired from the US Postal Service, enjoyed traveling, planting flowers, and golf. In her later years she was very fond of spending time with her family.

Caryl was preceded by her parents, Hamilton and JoAnn Mero, and is survived by her two sons; Joshua Jones and Seth Jones (Kristen), brother and sister in law, Bruce & Gretchen Mero, her six grandchildren; Ariel, Killian, Currin, Piper, Opal, and Pema as well as her Niece; Mitra & Nate Pratt, Great Niece, Lexi Pratt & Great Newphew & Godson, Lucas Pratt who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
