Howard, Cecelia Mary Welch

Sodus:  Passed away peacefully on November 9, 2013 at age 95.  Predeceased by her parents, Daniel and Margaret Craddock Welch; her husband, Vere; her sons Michael and Peter; and her brothers, Richard and John.   Cecelia is survived by her daughters, Judith (John) Setchell and Patricia Fullerton; granddaughter Sarah (Kevin) Chaffee and great grandchildren, Sean and Anne Chaffee. Cecelia is also survived by her sister-in-law, Loretta Welch, and several nieces and nephews.

Cecelia was a passionate reader and passed this enjoyment on to her children.  She loved music and all the beauties of nature, and she took great pleasure in drawing and painting.  She was a devoted mom who was ever-welcoming to her children's friends and to all the neighborhood children.  She was a popular long-time sales associate at Sibley's Linen Dept. in Irondequoit and also worked for a time at Xerox.

At Cecelia's request there will be no prior visitation and the funeral services will be held privately.  Cecelia's family loved her very much and will miss her always.
