"Pops"

Palmyra: Passed away on July 21, 2016 at age 84.  Pops was born on May 4, 1932 in Canandaigua, NY to the late Earl and Evelyn Rainbow.  He is survived by his children, Brian Rainbow, Cathy (Gordy) Bump and Craig (Stephanie) Rainbow; grandchildren, Chastity, Christopher, Kimberly, Candice, JJ and Craig, Jr.; sisters, Lois (Carl) Norsen and Joyce Rosenbauer; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Pops was a lifelong dairy farmer and horseman of Rainbow Dairy Farms.  He was a longtime member of the New York State and Tri-County State Draft Horse Club.  For many years, Pops participated in the Canaltown Days horse and wagon parade.

Family and friends may join for a time of visitation on Friday (July 29) from 4-7 PM at Palmyra United Methodist Church, 109 Church St., Palmyra, NY 14522, where his funeral service will be held on Saturday (July 30) at 10 AM.  Interment in Palmyra Village Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the church.  To leave the family an online condolence, please visit www.murphyfuneralservices.com.
