Cheryl J. Thompson Passed away suddenly surrounded by family on June 1, 2025, at the age of 81. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Art Thompson, and her children Mike Thompson, Karen DiFalco (Joe) and Kathy Blazey (Jim), eight grandchildren, Ian Thompson, Christina DiFalco, Angela DiFalco, Amanda DiFalco, Allyson (Blazey) Kuny, Emily Blazey, James Blazey (Ashlyn), and John Blazey, along with two great grandchildren, Jason Blazey (James) and Hope Kuny. She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Florence Sager, sisters Jean Fox and Beverley Wyckoff, and brothers Ken Sager and Wayne Sager. Chere worked in the family business for 38 years as an office manager. Chere loved flowers and planted many. She also was a crafter doing ceramics and crocheting afghans for all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also missed very few sporting events that her grandchildren were participating in. She was a member of St John's Lutheran church for 60 years, and active in youth group, and served as treasurer of the church. A celebration of Life will be at St John's Lutheran Church in Pumpkin Hook At 11am on June 21, 2025, led by Pastor Carl Prostka, with a reception following. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Interlaken, NY, that afternoon. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution in her name to St. John's Lutheran Church.
