Christopher J. Regruit

Rochester: Due to complications after heart surgery, Chris passed away on January 3, 2019 at age 49.  He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Rose Regruit; sister-in-law, Lisa Regruit; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  Chris is survived by his siblings, Robin (Gary) Smith, Curt (Susan) and Glenn (Anita Black) Regruit; nieces and nephews, Emma Smith, Ryan (Lindsay), Jason, Jacob and Lindsay Regruit; aunts and many cousins.

Chris was an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying golf, hiking, photography, snowmobiling, kayaking and spending time in the Adirondack Mountains.  While we will miss him dearly, we are blessed that for 49 years he graced us with his big heart, his sharp wit, and his thoughtfulness with all who knew him.  It always seems harsh when the lord takes someone away from us who is so young, but Chris lived a very full life in his short time with us and leaves an enduring legacy of friendship and compassion for others.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday (January 7), 9:30 AM at Saint Kateri Parish at Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Highway S.
