Darlene Virginia Brotzman (Harnig), age 54, passed away peacefully January 28th, 2023. She was born September 7th, 1968 in Ronkonkoma, New York to David and Virginia Harnig. She married her best friend and love, Timothy Robert Brotzman, in June of 1989. Darlene was loved by many and touched the lives of even more. Though she was afflicted with an auto-immune disorder, she lived to support and love those who needed help. Starting many online support groups, Darlene showed the love of Christ in a practical way by supporting others, despite having her own health struggles. She had an eye for fashion and kept her house "Hallmark Movie" ready. Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, Psalm 126:5, "Those who sow with tears, will reap with songs of joy." And while she may have not had the best singing voice, she always had a song of joy in her heart. Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Tim, and her children, Timothy (Laura), David (Taylor), and Joseph. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, David (Brandi) Harnig, brothers Kenneth Deuel, and Curtis Deuel; sisters Patti Ann Chapman, Corrine Maybruck, and Lori Anis. All of whom she loved and was loved by deeply. Family and friends of Darlene Brotzman are respectfully invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service for Darlene Brotzman, which will be held at Pittsford Community Church, 421 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY, on Saturday, February 11th, beginning with a time of visitation with the family at 10 am followed by the service at 11:30 am.
