David E. Allen

Macedon: October 20, 2014 at age 71.  Dave was born in Canada and came to the States to join the United States Marine Corp.  He served in Vietnam with 3rd Force Recon Division.  On his return he worked at Kodak until retirement.  His passion was hockey.

Predeceased by his wife, Patsy-Lynne.  He is survived by his wife, Sally McPike; children, Tammy (Mike) Pulver and James (Tammy) Allen; step-children, Trevor (Kerry) Chapman and Tori Chapman; grandchildren, Daniel and Ben Pulver, Jacob and Joshua Allen, Brennaugh, John and Jess Chapman; brothers, Philip and John (Sharon); sister, Heather (Dave) MacIntyre; several very special nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may join the family Thusday (October 23) from 4-7 PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY.  A service celebrating Dave's life will be held Friday (October 24) at 11 AM at Zion Episcopal Church, 120 East Main St., Palmyra, NY.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489 or Wounded Warriors in Action, www.wwiaf.org , in Dave's memory.
