David M. Clough formely of Mendon, NY and currently of Macedon, NY passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the age of 90.  He is suvived by his wife of 65 years, Jane; seven children, Mary Susan "Sue" (Patrick) O'Brien,  Judy (Ray Gasecki) Clough, Charles (Holley) Clough, Carol (Len) Sorbello, Dan (Denise) Clough, Rebecca "Becky" Clough and James Clough; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including long time dear friends Marvin and Thelma Dillon.  David was born in Minnesota on April 11, 1923 to Charles and Helen Clough.  He obtained his degree in engineering and lived in Cedar Rapids from 1950-1961.  David moved to Mendon in 1961 where he lived for over fifty years before moving to Macedon in 2012.  David and Jane were active members in their church and enjoyed camping with their family.  David retired from Xerox.  David served his country through the United States Navy having served from 1944-1946.

Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 4-7PM at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Route 31, Macedon, NY 14502. A Funeral Mass to celebrate David's life wll be offered on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11AM in St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 26 Mendon-Ionia Road, Mendon, NY 14506.  Interment will follow in Mendon Cemetery.  Memorials in memory of David may be directed to the American Diabetes Association, or the American Heart Association.
