Ionia: David C. Giglia, age 84, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025. He was predeceased by 5 months by his wife of 63 years, Ann S. Giglia.

David is survived by his three sons, Louis Giglia (Angi Marcello), David (Mariann) Giglia, and Joe (Mary) Giglia; granddaughter, Marissa Giglia (Blake Spina); sisters, Camille Ventura, Louise Altobelli, and Karen Giglia; brothers, Charles (Helen) Giglia, Paul (Ellen) Giglia, and Michael (Carol) Giglia; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

David was born in Rochester and was the son of Charles and Mary (Cannito) Giglia. He was a graduate of Franklin High School, class of 1958. David's career at Eastman Kodak spanned many years in which he culminated his tenure there by overseeing the estimating department. Beyond his profession, David was a man of many passions. He found great joy in fishing at his beloved cottage he built in Cape Vincent in the 1000 Islands. David had a passion for woodworking that showcased his incredible talent and creativity. He took great pride in his impressive collection of model railroads, which he built with dedication and precision.  His love for automobiles was evident in his fondness for cars, particularly his Chevelle and 1969 Z28 Camaro.

David was a hard worker who provided for his family. He will be forever remembered and cherished.
