Marion: Dave passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on January 3, 2019 at age 56. He was predeceased by his mother, Gloria Gracey; sister, Luanne Farnsworth; niece, Ashley Taylor; step-mother, Sally Lennox; beloved family friend, Shirley Clemons. Dave is survived by his love, Natalie Bauer; beloved daughters, Amanda, Kristina and Grace; grandchildren, Evan and Aribella; father, Earl Lennox; siblings, Durwin (Kathy) and Rodney (Dawn) Lennox, Cindy (Jack) Taylor, Laurie Hamlin, Linda (Johnny) Mena, Tina Hanemann, Kathy (Don) Sherman, Carol (Max) Harrington, Karen Johnson and Lori (David) Liestman; loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, close friends and dear co-workers at The Metro Group.
Dave was born in Sodus, NY but lived most of his childhood in Henderson, NY on the family farm with his mother and siblings. Dave later attended Marion High School where he was an avid athlete and caused just enough trouble to remain memorable in the class of 1981. Dave was an avid hunter, a dedicated NY Giants fan and an active member of the local Snowmobile club. Marion was where Dave raised his family, hosted "Friday nights in the garage" and on Sundays, could often be found in his recliner "resting his eyes" while catching the Nascar race.
Family and friends may gather from 2-5 PM, Saturday (January 12) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday (January 12), 6 PM at Marion American Legion, 4141Witherden Rd., Marion, NY 14505.
